We are volunteer-based, Unincorporated California Non-Profit, a community of practice, that serves purpose practitioners through sharing best practices, mentoring and via in-person gatherings and online collaboration. Our History
In January 2017, a group of purpose and Soul guides convened, what would soon be called the Global Purpose Leaders. In a series of 3 video calls, we mapped "the purpose space", and launched a series of projects and gatherings to connect, collaborate and amplify each other's work. Over time we've built deep relationships, published books, launched conferences, led summits and trained each other on improving and expanding our craft.
In January of 2018, the organic desire to initiate ourselves as a group emerged and we began a group purpose discovery process, expertly guided by Elsie Chang of the True Purpose Institute. Seven of us (Rikk Hansen, Susan Lucci, Dustin Timmons, Tomar Levine, Brandon Peele, Marcy Morrison and Cynthia Hendricks) were selected by the group to perform this process on behalf of the Global Purpose Leaders. This process concluded in May of 2018.
A Council was formed from this group to steward and shepherd the Soul of GPL. From the Council, we formed Guardian roles and birthed the formal legal entity. We launched publicly on November 17, 2018 at the San Francisco Purpose Summit.

Council + Guardians
The Council functions similar to a board of directors and is tasked with serving the higher purpose of the GPL and developing a strategy to express it. The Guardian roles are active leadership positions that implement the strategy set forth by the Council – volunteers who help create and tend GPL program as well as empowering and supporting members in co-creating our future.

Tomar Levine is passionate about global transformation and serves as an intuitive life purpose and empowerment guide for those who also long to help create a better world.
